The 1964 Galaxie 500 XL convertible is fully integrated with a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor floor, frame, suspension, brakes, motor, transmission and rear end.
The Crown Victoria body was completely removed from its frame.
The frame was media blasted and painted black.
Power is a 4.
6 Liter SOHC Police Interceptor V8 that has been tuned and new coil packs and belts were replaced during the restoration.
Some mild modification such as a narrowed rear axle, narrowed front end, new center filled gas tank were performed during the restoration.
The body is very straight and the car was disassembled with all of the glass out when the car and trim off when the car was painted.
The car was painted Mercedes Benz tan and was wet sanded and buffed.
Then for the final stage of the paint it was ceramic coated.
The previous owner who had the car built enjoyed the car a lot and drove it 25,xxx in the last three years.
The car was insured for a very recent appraisal amount of $100,000 and that goes with the car as well.
