Position Title:
Inventory Analyst

Purpose of Position
Under the general direction of the Distribution Center Director, Supply Chain is responsible for managing inventory levels and fulfillment across the retail and warehouse operations of the business. Utilizing the correct combination of process, data, and technologies to improve business operations and inventory costs.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Supports all replenishment, allocation and logistic functions to support the organization
  • Participates in driving profitable sales, optimizing inventory, analyzing seasonal trend, and managing vendor and store issues
  • Manages the efficient flow of merchandise between vendors, DC, and offices
  • Maintains replenishment systems and works with direct reports, vendors, and other team members the achieve the organizational goals

Working Relationships
  • Reports directly to the Distribution Center Director
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management
  • Daily interaction with end users and department leaders concerning orders, inventory, and transactions
  • Strong team member and cross-functional contributor

Knowledge and Skills
  • BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Marketing
  • 3 years minimum related experience
  • Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus
  • Understanding of inventory and procurement methodologies and toolsets
  • Cross functional team leadership
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage support and improvement activities
  • The ability to professionally represent the organization to vendors and outside partners

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
