Take charge of overseeing and handling various commercial projects.
Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment (up to 480 volts).
Ensure strict adherence to the current National Electric Code.
Wire, inspect, and test electrical system components such as transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
Specialize in office buildouts, remodels, and new wiring projects.
Effectively use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals for project completion.
Conduct surveys of electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
Maintain accurate digital records and pictures documenting work performed and materials used.
Strictly adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Supervise apprentices, sharing your expertise and knowledge for their development.
Requirements for our Commercial Electrician:
High school diploma/GED is required.
Need at least 4 years of experience in the commercial electrical trade.
Demonstrate knowledge and skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of systems and equipment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Ability to run conduit.
Low voltage wiring experience is preferred but not required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish and maintain professional, positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
Must possess a valid driver's license and live in the Greater St.
Louis area.
