Job Description As a family-owned supermarket for over 75 years, Schnucks is proud of its tradition of top-quality selections, service excellence and friendliness.
We have an immediate opening for an experienced full-time Assistant Deli Manager in the Mid/West St.
Louis County area.
The Assistant Deli Manager will perform all the duties and job functions of an experienced clerk.
Must have the ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
The Assistant Manager will assume the responsibility of the Department Manager in their absence.
Responsibilities:
o Maintain strict adherence to department and company safety guidelineso Assign duties to the team as neededo Train new teammateso Ensure department standards are meto Write orders for the day and set up timeline for production scheduleo Provide friendly and courteous service in person and on the phoneo Receive and stock orderso Understand and practice proper sanitation procedureso Follow inventory control procedures to ensure quality production, accuracy and product rotationRequirements:
o Minimum of six months of related experienceThe position is 40 hours per week.
Flexible availability including weekends is important in our retail environment.

Additional Requirements - Internal candidates:
Store/Facility Teammates:
minimum of six months employment with Schnucks.
Store Support Center Teammates:
minimum of one year employment with Schnucks.
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
