Manager of Quality Control

Insight Global is looking to hire a Quality Control Manager to work onsite at an engineering firm in St.
Louis County.
This role's primary responsibilities are to manage and maintain the ISO 9001 and ASME management system, while leading day-to-day operations of the Quality Department.
Lastly, they are responsible for the investigation and resolution of quality support in contract communication.
As the Quality Department head, they will have 8 direct reports and 10
oversees manufacturing shop inspectors.
They will serve as a mentor and coach to some of the jr.
engineers and help implement best quality practices across the company.
They will participate in contract reviews across multiple departments, occasionally participating in presentations to clients.
As the primary point of contact for Quality Management, they will utilize ISO 9001 and ASME for evaluation and auditing purposes.

yrs in Management & Leadership Experience setting quality control standards for custom heavy industry parts Experience in Quality Control-facilitating audits with ISO 9001 Managing direct reports- completing performance reviews, coaching, establishing goals MS Suite Willing to work onsite in St.
Louis, MO Willing to travel up to 15%, including international.
4-year college degree Desired Skills Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Management, Materials Science Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering Boiler, Pressure Vessel, or Natural Gas Industry Recommended Skills Auditing Chemical Engineering Heavy Industry Iso 9000 Leadership Management Systems Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
