This position will ensure that the company receives payment for goods and services and monitor the outflow of capital.
If you have the skills and the desire to shine, we are looking for you! This is a full-time position working normal business hours Monday through Friday.
Primary Responsibilities Creates invoices and submits invoices to customers Maintains and updates customer files Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment Creates reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, resolving discrepancies, and preparing remittance advices to vendors Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed Reconciles accounts receivable and accounts payable on a periodic basis Calculates and reports sales tax based on invoices Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger Assists Accounting Manager in reconciling various accounts each month Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed Performs other related accounting duties as assigned Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
