Position Summary Responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Technicians and manage year-round maintenance and repairs as required for safety of all Sunnyhill properties, Sunnyhill Adventures Camp, Sunnyhill Independence Center, Sunnyhill Residential Care Facility, and Sunnyhill Supported Living Department, and Sunnyhill office locations.
The Director ensures the buildings on campus are in good condition presenting a positive first impression.

Lead, mentor, and coach maintenance department personnel.
Oversee and direct the department personnel, maintenance, repair, and renovation of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for employees and visitors.
Inspects completed work for conformance to standards and policies.
Assist with completing maintenance and repair needs.
Responsible for all the project management needs within the department.
Must be able to prioritize goals and deadlines for the department.
Plan, schedule, and execute project plans for each facilities needs keeping the health and safety of the people served and Sunnyhill employees as the top priority.
Network with contractors for projects outside of the maintenance technicians' scope of work.
Uses sound judgment and experience to solve problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness or a combination of these.
Applies existing guidelines and procedures to make decisions within a department.
Collaborate with Sunnyhill department directors to ensure company and departmental maintenance needs are being met in a timely manner.
Develop and execute a comprehensive facilities management strategy that aligns with the Sunnyhill goals and objectives.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of assets and reduce downtime.
Completes repairs to facilities and homes as requested through maintenance/repair ticketing system.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with various outside vendors and agencies.
Responds appropriately to emergencies.
Maintain fleet vehicles and fleet monitoring services.
Manages and completes monthly and annual reporting requirements in accordance with Department of Natural Resources drinking water and wastewater guidelines.
Completes scheduled audits and annual reporting in accordance with MO Department of Transportation guidelines.
Facilitates and collaborates with safety committee members to meet Sunnyhill needs.
Conducts regular inspections of life safety systems, including fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems.
Identify safety concerns and address according to existing guidelines and procedures.
Keeps accurate records of repairs and purchases.
Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Ensure all needed supplies are available for use.
Requirements:
Education & Experience Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, property management experience is a plus.
Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance-related position.
Advanced knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems preferred.
High School Diploma or GED.
Fundamental knowledge of facility infrastructure maintenance and repair.
Strong knowledge of building systems, construction, maintenance practices, and facility-related regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities & Qualifications Must have the ability to be on call for emergencies 24/7 and flexibility with schedule required.
Understands and follows OSHA guidelines and other regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak on behalf of executive leadership.
Strong attention to detail, and comfort adhering to company policies and standards.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful execution.
Ability to prioritize tasks and function well in a high-paced (at times stressful) environment.
Acceptable background checks Physical Requirements Able to stand, bend, and walk for four (4) consecutive hours at a time.
Repetitive bending and reaching up to two (2) hours a day.
Able to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist.
Will be working outdoors and be exposed to loud noises.
Exposed to all weather conditions.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
