3K a year A Service Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the operations of all customer service equipment for effective maintenance and repair.
Acts as technical advisor on all equipment issues and assists management team with equipment budgets.
Duties Include the Following:
Manage Service Techs o Instruct service techs to remove any parts pulled in house out of computer immediately Delegate customer and rental repairs to Service Techs Display extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered Ensure repairs are being completed and returned to customer within company allotted time frame Meets company requirements for minimum billable mechanic man hours Issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and accounting system Ensure employees are complying with rental check in and out procedures Ensure employees are wearing proper safety equipment as needed Maintain safe and clean work environment for employees.
o Enforce company safety policies ? Shirts tucked in ? Safety glasses worn at all times ? Ear protection when required ? Safety belt when operating forklifts Patrol and monitor work areas and examine tools and equipment in order to detect unsafe conditions or violations of procedures or safety rules.
Maintain accurate inventory levels & bin locations Manage difficult customer situations, finds solutions, returns calls in a timely manner Maintain ongoing training for employees on service equipment with a minimum of 5 to be completed per year Provide management with a weekly feedback on service issues Provide management with a weekly analysis of all rental, warranty and customer equipment repair times Provide management with a weekly analysis on warranty claim updates and issues Maintain quality and safety standards in area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on company policies, standards and procedures; monitoring associate compliance to policies and procedures.
Radio acknowledgement & professional communication between departments Ensure work area is kept clean o Shop o Mechanic Area o Office Maintain end of day closing list Complete assigned tasks within deadline and meet goals Lead and motivate employees with jobs and goals through passion and positive energy Delegate and implement daily tasks for employees, monitor if overtime is warranted Provide management with vacation requests minimum two weeks in advance Coordinate with management on personal days or days necessary to leave early by giving as much advanced notice as possible to insure proper delegation of tasks and duties Coordinate lunch schedule with Rental Equipment Supervisor Coordinate with Service Tech to call customer with estimate and if estimate is higher than expected, re-contact customer Work effectively with all levels of the company-sale, rental, parts, purchasing Adhere to company mission statement and core values to minimize customer complaints Perform other job-related duties, as needed Requirements:
Follows all safety rules and regulations Excellent customer service skills Able to work overtime and weekends Must be 18 years of age Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening Job Type:
